About the Author

Reid Turner attended Bethel University and Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, MN and pursued additional graduate studies at the University of Chicago. He founded and managed an investment advisory firm in San Francisco for over twenty years. It was while a student in Chicago that he converted to Catholicism and was received into the Church.

While this blog is primarily intended as a companion to the book, and to share observations on the present era as it relates to St. Hildegard’s visions, posts on a variety of subjects will be included as well. Other subjects of interest include saints, prophecy, scripture study, apologetics, as well as economics and current events.

The Five Beasts of Saint Hildegard was his first book and was followed by Liberating Marriage in an Age of Heresy: St. Hildegard of Bingen and Reform in the 12th Century, and The Rosary Unbound: Scriptural Portraits of the Mysteries.
